Kutch Honors Board Toppers and 100% Result Schools at Grand Felicitation Ceremony From the Desk of the Kutch District Education Officer
Bhuj, Kutch: In a significant celebration of academic excellence, the District Education Office, Bhuj, in collaboration with Shri Kera Kundanpar Leuva Patel Education Trust, Kera, organised a grand felicitation ceremony to honor students who secured the prestigious A1 grade in the SSC and HSC board examinations, along with schools that achieved a 100% pass result. The event was presided over by Shri Trikambhai Chhanga, Minister of State for Higher and Technical Education, Government of Gujarat. Distinguished guests included Member of Parliament Shri Vinodbhai Chavda, MLA Smt.
Malatiben Maheshwari, education officials, trustees, donors, parents, teachers, and students. A total of 662 SSC students, 204 HSC General Stream students, and 20 HSC Science Stream students who achieved A1 grades were honoured with medals and certificates. Additionally, 231 schools that recorded a 100% pass result were recognised for their outstanding performance.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Shri Trikambhai Chhanga described the occasion as a “golden day” for students, parents, educators, and society. He congratulated the District Education Officer and the entire education team for achieving remarkable board examination results. He remarked that high- remarked that high-performing students are the architects of the future and emphasized the government’s commitment to expanding higher education facilities, including colleges and extension centers, in Kutch. Member of Parliament Shri Vinodbhai Chavda praised teachers as role models who shape society and acknowledged the continuous progress of Kutch in the field of education.
He congratulated students, parents, teachers, and the education department for their collective efforts. District Education Officer Shri Sanjay Parmar welcomed the dignitaries and expressed pride in the increasing performance trends in Classes 10 and 12 examinations. He expressed confidence that the number of A1-grade students would continue to grow in the coming years. The program began with a welcome song presented by students of J.P. & L.S. High School, Kera. During the ceremony, donors who contributed to the success of the event were also honoured. A special highlight was the distribution of full-salary appointment orders to 11 Shikshan Sahayaks (Assistant Teachers) of grant-in-aid schools who completed five years of service. The dignitaries later felicitated the meritorious students, while Smt. Malatiben Maheshwari congratulated the organisers for the excellent arrangements and recognition of academic achievement. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prithvirajsinh Zala. The program was effectively conducted by Bhumiben Choksi, Haniben Rathod, and Vasantbhai Patel.
In a subsequent session, principals from across Kutch participated in discussions regarding educational activities for the new academic year and preparations for the upcoming school enrolment drive. The ceremony not only celebrated academic success but also reaffirmed Kutch’s growing reputation as a region committed to educational excellence and holistic development.
