With the inspiration of GCERT Gandhinagar, Maharani Gangaba Saheb District Education and Training Bhavan, Bhuj (Kutch), and District Education Officer’s Office, Bhuj, a joint initiative of Maharani Gangaba Saheb District Education and Training Bhavan, Bhuj (Kutch), and District Education Officer’s Office, Bhuj, with the support of Kutch-Morbi MP Shri Vinodbhai Chavda, a grand event was organized at Regional Science Center, Bhuj, on 17 September 2025, on the occasion of the birthday of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi with the aim of developing a scientific outlook among children.

Shri Vinodbhai L. Chavda (MP – Kutch-Morbi) was present in the chair of the program and encouraged the students. On this occasion, District Education Officer Sanjaybhai Parmar congratulated the child scientists. Honourable MP Shri Vinodbhai Chavda expressed his gratitude for the program organised on the birthday of the country’s successful Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi and said that the Regional Science Center was also inaugurated by the respected Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi, wishing all the children progress. Today’s Mathematics Science Exhibition was attended by SVS Convener Tejasbhai Pathak, Bhuj AEI Pareshbhai Ghari, President of the Educational Association, and Class 2 Principals. An exhibition of 106 scientific works prepared by students of classes 9 to 12 of a total of 95 schools was kept open after the inauguration, which was viewed by more than 2000 students.

The first winner selected by 10 expert judges in the themes of sustainable agriculture, green energy, waste management, water conservation, innovative technology, health and sanitation, and mathematical model will participate in the district level. Students were also honoured with certificates and mentor teachers. Yugvir Singh Jhala, who entered the Guinness Book of World Records at a young age, and Yogeshpuri Goswami, who got a place in the House of the U.K. Embassy, ​​were specially honoured.

The team of District Education Officer, Bhuj, Project Director of Regional Science Center, Bhuj, Dr. Viral Parmar, Facility Manager Aartiben Arya and the entire staff worked hard to make this entire program a success.
