‘Pariksha Ek Utsav’: Bhuj Hosts Motivational Programme to Help Board Students Face Exams with Confidence

The initiative aimed to help students approach their examinations with a calm and confident mindset. The programme began with a welcome address by Mr. Vasantbhai Patel, Trustee of Leva Patel Medical and Education Trust, who welcomed Swami Pradiptanand Saraswatiji, District Education Officer Mr. Sanjay Parmar, and District Primary Education Officer Mr. Prithviraj Singh Jhala.

In his introductory remarks, DEO Mr. Sanjay Parmar highlighted that Kutch district’s board examination results have shown steady improvement over the past three years, with an increase in first-grade results. He stated that pre-board guidance sessions and support from expert teachers are being strengthened further to enhance performance this year as well. He described it as a privilege for students to receive motivational guidance from Swamiji.

In his inspiring address, Swami Pradiptanand Saraswatiji encouraged students to appear for exams with a peaceful and focused mind. He reminded them that examinations are only milestones in life and urged them not to fear results but to give their best effort. Drawing inspiration from the example of Arjuna’s focus in the Mahabharata, he emphasised goal-setting and perseverance. Addressing parents, he advised them not to burden children with excessive expectations, noting that every child possesses unique strengths. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer round, where students enthusiastically participated.

Subject-specific guidance was provided by expert teachers, including Jagrutiben Vakil, Honeyben Rathod, Pankajbhai Dahinsaria, Sureshbhai Harsiyani, Ashwinbhai Patel, and Piyushbhai Parmar. Education officials, principals, teachers, and members of Arsh Adhyayan Kendra extended their support in organising the event. Around 2,000 students and teachers attended the programme. Students were distributed useful examination kits and prasad.

The programme was anchored by Amitbhai Dholakia, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Education Inspector Mrs. Kanchanben Kuksal. The event reflected a collective effort to transform examination preparation into a positive and encouraging experience for students across the district.

With the board examinations for Standards 10 and 12 commencing on February 26, the District Education Officer (DEO), Bhuj, in collaboration with Arsh Adhyayan Kendra, Madhapar, organised a motivational guidance programme titled “Pariksha Ek Utsav” at the Matushree Dhanbai Premji Gangji Bhudia Memorial Hall, Bhuj.
