The Inner Wheel Club of Gandhidham Infinity continued its commitment to women’s empowerment through a meaningful initiative under the project category “Reach Out for a Better World – Status of Women.” The club extended support to a local artisan woman skilled in traditional mud and mirror work, helping her strengthen her livelihood and preserve local craftsmanship.

As part of the initiative, the club provided her with essential materials and assisted in sourcing kurtis, shawls, and dupattas to expand her product range. The club also sponsored the stall rent, enabling her to showcase her handcrafted items to a wider audience. This support was made possible through the generous contribution of Avani Acharya.

The project aims to promote local artisans, encourage traditional art forms, and create sustainable income opportunities for women. Though the direct beneficiary of this initiative was one skilled artisan, the impact contributes to the larger goal of uplifting women through financial independence and cultural preservation. With this effort, the Inner Wheel Club of Gandhidham Infinity reaffirms its dedication to strengthening women’s status and fostering community empowerment in District 305.
