About the Program

Phase 1: SPARK – The NewsSpark Challenge

  • Students answer five curated questions from each issue of Education Thrive News.

  • Questions are based on real news stories, encouraging:

    • Critical thinking

    • Reflection

    • Why the news matters today

  • Top-performing entries are selected as official Education Thrive Ambassadors.


Phase 2: GROW – The Ambassador Academy

Interactive online sessions covering:

  • Journalism & Storytelling

  • Public Speaking & Leadership

  • Digital Literacy & Responsible Media Use

  • Community Action & Collaboration

Participants earn:

  • Digital badges

  • Certificates

  • Leadership points


Phase 3: LEAD – School Correspondence & Youth Projects

Ambassadors become Student Correspondents, documenting:

  • Inspiring stories

  • School achievements

  • Youth-led initiatives

They collaborate through Thrive Circles, creating:

  • Digital magazines

  • Student campaigns

  • Monthly theme projects (e.g., Sustainability, Innovation in Education)


Phase 4: SHINE – The Annual Thrive Summit

The year concludes with the Education Thrive Leadership & Media Summit, celebrating:

  • Outstanding student ambassadors

  • Partner school contributions

  • Excellence in creativity, leadership & media literacy
